Kids' Pajama Sampling & Product Development

Take your custom kids' pajamas from an idea or reference to a sample your team can review. Jinshi's separate sample-development line supports fabric, fit, construction, print and branding decisions before bulk production. Start with one sales unit per style and color on standard fabric qualities, and choose the sample that answers your next product question.

A Sample Route You Can Plan Around

1

sales unit per style and color

Normal custom sample starting quantity on standard fabric qualities

7–10

working days

Normal making time after the required sample inputs and conditions are ready as agreed

100+

sample styles developed per month

Sample-style development output, not the number of physical sample pieces

Separate sample-development line

Development work organized separately from the six bulk-production lines

One complete two-piece pajama set is one sales unit. Special sourcing, further development rounds, buyer review, separately required tests and sample transport are planned in addition to the normal sampling period.

Why Sample With the Team That Will Make the Garment?

Connect the decisions early

Fabric, fit, seam, print and label decisions can be reviewed as parts of one style. The sample reveals how those choices work together before they become bulk instructions.

Ask a useful question in every round

A prototype, fit sample, actual-fabric pre-production sample and size set have different tasks. We define the review purpose so your team knows what the submitted version can establish.

Keep revisions practical

One consolidated comment list identifies corrections, refinements and new design requests. That makes the next work easier to scope and the updated sample easier to compare.

Build a usable production reference

The accepted sample remains linked to the technical pack, materials and approval record. Bulk production starts from an identified version rather than an attractive photo alone.

Meet the Development Team Behind the Sample

Jinshi's sample function includes four sample staff, supported by six designers with more than ten years of experience each and a combined R&D/technical function of two people. The project brings the relevant skills together around the material and garment decisions in your brief.

We develop more than 100 sample styles per month. The figure describes styles developed; the quantity of samples, revisions and size-set pieces for your project follows its agreed plan.

The approval is tied to its stated purpose. You do not need every sample type for every order; we define the relevant sequence for the actual development risk.

Start with the information that affects the sample

Send the product reference or technical pack, target fabric, size to sample, color or artwork and the details to check. Include labels or packaging when they are part of this round. If information is incomplete, identify what you know and the decisions on which you need support.

We review the material readiness, construction questions and scope of sample approval. The output is a sample brief with the required inputs, fee scope and next review point made clear.

Plan sample quantity, cost and timing

Normal sampling starts at 1 sales unit per style and color. For a two-piece pajama, one complete set is one sample unit. This defines the style/color sample quantity; it is not a promise of unlimited revisions or a complete size set.

Normal sample development takes 7–10 working days once the required specifications, materials, approvals and sample payment conditions are ready as agreed. Special sourcing, extra development rounds, buyer review, testing where separately required and shipping are planned outside that normal sampling period.

Selected existing samples or fabric swatches may be supplied without a sample charge under the agreed plan. Custom samples are quoted according to their work, and shipping is normally arranged at the customer's cost. Any sample-fee credit or refund against a bulk order must be agreed explicitly.

Use each round to close specific questions

Prepare

Confirm the style version, sample size, material status and the details this round will address. The sample team works from that reference rather than several conflicting messages.

Make and review

Jinshi prepares the agreed sample and relevant measurements or detail views. You review the physical garment and the questions listed in the brief, including any material substitution disclosed for that round.

Consolidate changes

Return one coordinated revision list against the sample version. Separate required corrections, preferred refinements and new design requests so their effect on work and timing can be assessed.

Record the decision

The result can be approved, approved for a limited stated purpose, or returned for identified revision. The record states the accepted details, remaining actions and what the next step is authorized to use.

Inspect the complete garment

For a sleeper, review torso and opening dimensions, zipper operation, guard, binding and cuff or foot details. For a set, inspect the top and bottom separately and together. For a sleep sack, check the agreed openings and the specified outer, lining and filling.

Where care review is included, compare the agreed measurement points, appearance, seams and components before and after the specified laundering route. A fabric swatch or a passed component result does not answer every question about the assembled garment.

Keep revisions and responsibility visible

A deviation from the agreed sample instruction is reviewed as a correction. A new design direction, changed material or added feature is reviewed as a scope change, with any cost and timing effect explained before the additional work proceeds.

Do not overwrite the history. Keep the previous sample reference, consolidated comments and current version connected. For several approvers, identify who signs off fit, materials, artwork and commercial changes. The sample approval guide provides a fuller review framework.

Hand off the approved version to production

Before bulk release, align the relevant approved sample with the current technical pack, bill of materials, size information, color or print standard, labels and packaging instructions. Resolve the items required for production and explicitly identify any work still outside the release.

Normal bulk production is 25–30 working days once its own readiness and payment conditions are met as agreed. The sample-sampling period and buyer review do not automatically become a guaranteed delivery date. Bulk production explains the next handoff.

You can request existing print-effect references before choosing a route, a custom fabric strike-off for the selected design, or a printed garment sample. A library design code or your own artwork file can start the request; these sample types approve different parts of the project.

A Different Sample for Each Development Challenge

Your first branded pajama set

Review the top and bottom, selected regular fabric, color or print and your branding. The complete set is one sample sales unit, with the actual review scope agreed for the round.

A new construction or fabric route

Use a focused material or sewn-detail trial before asking a complete garment to answer every question at once. The final intended quality still receives its relevant fit and care review.

A more complex newborn collection

Separate the development stages when a collection needs multiple materials, size transitions or additional validation. Our premium newborn development plan is an illustrative extended project, not the normal sample-sampling period for every order.

Sampling questions

Can I approve fit while the final fabric is being developed?

Yes, for a defined limited purpose using an identified substitute. Review the relevant fit and care behavior again in the intended quality before final production approval.

Is a photography sample automatically the pre-production sample?

No. It may be the same physical garment only if its materials, version and approval scope support both tasks. The photograph itself does not release production.

How many revisions are included?

The agreed sample proposal defines the work and revision approach. Consolidated feedback helps distinguish a correction from added development.

Can I approve only one detail of a sample?

Yes. State the detail and the permitted next action. A partial approval should not be treated as acceptance of the entire garment.

Can production start while other decisions remain open?

Only the work covered by the agreed release should proceed. Identify which unresolved decisions block later operations and record any staged authorization clearly.

Ask for the sample that resolves your next decision

Tell us the product, material status and what you need to approve. We will define a focused sample brief and its next review point.
