Pajama Manufacturing for Startup Brands

Start small and give your first collection a sound product foundation. Jinshi is a China pajama manufacturer for startup brands, helping you turn a reference, sketch or base style into your own sleepwear range. We connect fabric, fit, artwork, labels and sample decisions with a first-order plan you can understand before committing to bulk.

Begin with What You Already Have

A reference or base style

Start from an available design direction and identify the details you want to retain. Changes to color, print, fit or branding receive an agreed scope, with structural changes assessed for additional development.

Images, sketches or a mood board

Use references to explain the shape, feeling and visual direction. We translate them into garment choices, material options and questions that can be resolved through design and sampling. The references should be yours to use or clearly identified as inspiration.

A complete technical pack

Bring your dimensions, material list, artwork and construction details. We review their consistency and manufacturing requirements, then define the sample needed to confirm the proposed product.

The design-development service connects these starting points to practical deliverables. An existing reference can reduce some decisions, but it does not automatically include stock garments or approval of your changes.

You do not have to commission original artwork before discussing your first sleepwear range. Select from our existing print library, request a focused theme selection or bring your own files, then develop the chosen design with the garment and budget.

Why Work with Jinshi on This Project

You Can Begin with an Idea

A complete technical pack is useful, but an initial reference and a clear market are enough to begin defining the work.

Spend against Visible Decisions

Separate design, sample, production and branded-material costs so alternatives can be compared before purchase.

Build Your Own Product Identity

Choose fit, fabric, artwork and presentation rather than limiting the brief to a changed logo.

Keep the First Order Useful

Retain approved files and distinguish size demand from fit feedback when planning the next order.

Define a Focused First Range

Choose the main customer, garment type and market before adding more colors or accessories. A first range can be built around a small group of core products, with enough variation to express the brand while keeping the approval work understandable.

Product shapesThe core garment or small groupPatterns, measurements and samples
Material qualitiesOne or a few relevant basesFabric approvals and sourcing routes
Colors or printsA coordinated initial groupArtwork, color review and order combinations
SizesA defined target rangeGrading, fit checks and SKU records

New sleepwear brands can choose the range depth that serves their first release; there is no prescribed number of launch styles. We compare the actual alternatives against your product priorities and budget rather than adding variation for its own sake.

Separate Development Spending from Garment Quantities

Development and sample work

Identify design interpretation, pattern work, fabric or print samples and garment samples. The quotation states what the work delivers and which revisions or additional stages are included.

Production and brand materials

Price the approved garment against the proposed style, color and size quantities. Labels, specialist trims and packaging may have their own purchase requirements, which are shown separately.

Testing and delivery

Include the project's relevant tests, inspection, sample shipments and bulk delivery arrangement. These should be visible in the planning discussion, with responsibility and timing attached to each item.

A budget estimate can begin with stated assumptions. The quote-preparation guide explains how those assumptions become a more complete cost basis as the product is defined.

Use Samples to Answer Specific Questions

A first sample may focus on silhouette, access and basic measurements. Another stage may confirm the actual cloth, print, labels and complete presentation. We agree the purpose of each sample instead of treating every visible garment as approval of all product details.

You provide consolidated feedback on the same version. We record the changes, retained features and outstanding choices, then establish the next approval. Sampling support turns those decisions into the production reference; revision rounds and fees follow the agreed scope.

Plan the First Order in the Right Units

For standard fabric qualities with custom colors or prints, bulk starts at 30 sales units per style per color, with mixed sizes. One single garment or one complete top-and-bottom pajama set counts as one unit. This is not a 30-unit total spread freely across unrelated styles and colors.

The low-MOQ first-order solution shows how a range becomes a quantity plan, and the MOQ guide explains the full conditions. Samples start at one unit per style per color. New fiber formulations and special constructions are assessed individually.

Normal standard-fabric sampling is 7–10 working days and bulk 25–30 working days once the relevant inputs and conditions are agreed. Add the time for decisions, review, special development and shipping when planning your launch.

Keep the Approved Work Useful for the Next Order

Retain the final pattern, material references, measurements, artwork and packing instructions within the agreed project records. After the first delivery, separate sales demand from fit and quality feedback. That distinction helps decide whether to repeat the same style, adjust the size ratio or develop a revision.

The Factory Team behind the Plan

Our six designers each have more than ten years of experience, supported by a separate sample-development line. For start-up sleepwear brands, that means product questions can be worked through in samples before the approved version enters bulk production.

Startup Brand Questions

Can you help if we do not know the fabric weight?

Yes. Explain the garment, market, desired hand and reference products. We can compare material directions and identify the specification to develop.

Must we create an original pattern for the first order?

No. A private label route using a suitable base design and defined adjustments may be a useful starting point. The right route depends on the features and rights your brand needs.

Are design files included with every sample?

The development scope lists the files and physical samples to be delivered. Editable artwork, graded patterns and complete technical packs should be expressly included when required.

Can we simplify a design before paying for bulk materials?

Yes. We can compare proposed changes during development and identify their effect on the product and cost before the relevant approval and purchase.

What is enough for the first message?

A product idea or reference, market, approximate quantity and timing objective are enough to start a useful conversation.
